I spend a lot of time focusing on what my boys need to go to college and get a good job. I don't spend enough time appreciating who they are right now. I am doing a better job at appreciating who they are and their gifts, and I try to praise them regularly and tell them how much I love them. Unfortunately, I did not always do that.
